Holy deliciousness. Have you tried this place? IT IS SO GOOD! I stopped in because I was near aksarben, and I’ve wanted to try them out for awhile! I got the meal for two, which includes a protien of your choice, two sides and two sauces. I ordered two additional sides and two additional sauces because I wanted to try it all. pictured is the rotisserie chicken, black beans, quinoa and artichoke salad, roasted potatoes, and cucumber salad. The quinoa salad surprised me and that is definitely my favorite. Everything has great flavor! Sauces I tried are garlic, chimichurri, medium and hot habanero. I really like them all and I love spice, but if I had to pick only two I would go with medium and chimichurri. I’m going to keep this short and sweet and say GO! I don’t think you can go wrong! Everything is so good and my pregnant belly is beyond happy.. excited to go back and try the porchetta (roasted pork) and everything else on the menu!
Good food, excellent service and staff were so helpful in explaining the menu to us as it was our first time. Black beans are flavorful, shredded beef was tender and well seasoned, rice is good. Highly recommend the creamy garlic sauce, especially with the fries. BBQ sauce was tangy and sweet and good on the beef. Friend had the sandwich, bread was well toasted and broccoli salad was surprisingly very good. Will definitely return.
Very tasty, original flavors and seasoning. Hot sauces are a european/latin flare. A little on the high side of price but it is quality flavor and service. Staff was friendly and attentive. Has only been open for 3 weeks. I will be back.
Came here for lunch because all the photos online made it look fresh and bright with perfect portions. I was so pleasantly surprised with how tasty this was! The employees were amazing!!!! They explained all the dishes and gave me free samples. This restaurant is cozy clean and me and my coworker enjoyed our lunch with good music playing. Such a unique place!
Ordered for pickup, so can’t comment on service. Really delicious and moist chicken, sauces are unique and flavorful. The sides were also tasty and unique. Will definitely go back for more. Tastes like real, whole food, that won’t make you feel terrible. Highly recommend!
I needed a place for a meeting and some friends mentioned trying RUB. Aksarben was a little out of the way but heard it was a great restaurant and oh did they deliver! A much healthier choice, real food, made and served with love. You can just tell they care. My zoom meeting went great and the food was so flavorful. It hit the spot! (Who knew plantains were soooooo good?!) Carlos, one of the owners was there and we got to chat about some of the history related to the love he pours into his restaurants. Time is valuable and he made it well worth the time to chat and I am very grateful for it. We will be catering with them for events for sure!
delicious food. That’s reason enough to go. But the service is also very kind and thorough and the ambience in the place is awesome. It’s full of mature plants and comfortable seating. And good people watching. But it’s delicious so just go. I got: Bone-in chicken rice bowl with broccoli salad, garlic sauce & chimichuri. Perfection.
My husband works at HDR and this place was catered in one day. He kept talking about how amazing it was so we finally decided to try it together. We have been back maybe 6 times in a couple months and have introduced other friends and family to this place. The food is simple but fresh and flavorful. You can tell that everything is homemade including the sauces and everyone who works here is so kind. We went yesterday with my in laws who agreed that it was amazing as well. My father in law accidently threw away my husband's leftovers. The lady that was working made my husband a to go container of the items that had been tossed out. 5 star service! We love this place!
